No training tonight, Christmas bash instead. Please aim to arrive for Laserquest at 6.20pm. For the meal afterwards we're aiming to arrive at 8.15pm. There is going to be a visit from the air ambulance on Sunday morning and all junior players are invited to have publicity photos taken with the air ambulance so a turnout from the girls section would be good. Just to confirm next sunday 16/11.The u,18s will have county training with james and jem from 11 till 1 at worcester. Will be on the normal pitches that you train on.

As lichfield have a lot of girls injured at the moment next weekends u,15s cup fixtures have been postponed and put back to the 23rd at worcester .

I am working on a replacement u,15s fixture for next sunday and will update you asap.

2nd November under 18's

"Acute injury management"

Hi all,there's going to be a talk given by Mindy Devey from 206 physiotherapists on "Acute injury management" at the Upper Sixways suite on Thursday 25th September. Start time 7.15 for 7.30pm. The talk is open to any managers, coaches, parents and (older) players from the mini and junior section so hopefully we can have a good turnout. Injuries are common to all sports but getting quick recovery is good for the player, team and club, hence my interest. It may go on to discuss pre-habilitation where we can encourage strengthening to avoid injury, and a possible contribution by Karen on head injuries. Hope to see you there, Ian Clarke
