Firstly well done to everyone for results at the weekend, we played and won 3 hard games on a less them impressive playing surface. We have reached the Cup Final (again) and looks like we will be playing Reading (before you ask I know nothing about how good they are).
I would like to see everyone at training for the next couple of weeks so that we are ready for Reading. Also, I need everyone's Full Name and DOB for the Cup Final Team Sheet which needs to be submitted before the day - e-mail me rich.hepple@btinternet.com or text me please.

Worcester Greyhounds through to the final
Our first match of the day was against local rivals Burfield .
Worcester Greyhounds had a stormer of a game with three tries scored. Burfield giving us strong opposition in the forwards especially coming close to scoring on several near-miss occasions.
A typically strong performance from scrum-half Rose. Score: 17 - 0
Our second game was against West Park Leeds with only one try with a conversion scored.
A strong pack of forwards and a good back line in the second half meant that Worcester Greyhounds were on the back foot defensively for the entire half. West Park Leeds had many breaks and only some desperate tackling saved the game.
Score: 7 - 0
Our final game of the day was against Paviours.
A tired Worcester Greyhounds started the game with bad hands and poor tackling. However, as the game progressed Worcester Greyhounds were soon back on form with two tries scored in the first half.
A strong defence by Paviours meant that we did not add on anymore to the score in th second half.
Score: 12 - 0
Conversions by Louey.
Team: Hair, Emily, Faye, Wino, KC, Ghostie, Lize, Weewee Nic, Peaches, Shoulders, Crookie, Fran, Lou, Sophie, Beth, Jade, Abbie, Lydia, Katie and Zoe
Ghostie.

Gloucester 10s
An early start and everyone was off to Hartpury College. A full squad and more meant that we had enough players. A special thanks to Shoulders (Sophie) who kindly volunteered to go and play for Old Northamptonians who were a little short. Some of our other players had one or more games for them so thanks to all who volunteered and hope that Shoulders's injured hand recovers soon.
First match - Pool match against New Cull (combined Newquay and Cullompton) and a rusty start for us. A good run out and we had to work to get a 25-0 win.
Second match - Pool match against old challengers Letchworth on the hill called pitch 2. A good win with a score of 27 -0.
Third match - Pool match against Suffolk Sabres. A tough one with some excellent players on the opposition. A much tighter 14-7 win.
Fourth Match - Final pool match against Berry Hill. Getting into our stride meant a 29-0 win against a good opposition.
Semi- final - Up against local rivals Burfield. Both teams know each other well and that adds some spice to the matches. Always tough to play against we ran out 12-7 winners in the end. Correction - 17 -7. Missed Wino's second try. Sorry
Final - We played a great Boadicieas Barbarians (Drybrook and Hucclecote) side. They had some real pace in a number of players and there was little we could do to compete. They were an excellent 10s side and ran out very worthy 29-7 winners.
Overall we had a good day and the competition was very successful. We look forward to going back again next year.
Team: Beth, Abby, Crookie, Lou, Ghostie, Hair, Wino, KC, Rhiannon, Emily, Sophie W, Jade, Lydia, Fran, Eliza (and Shoulders).
